Made to order, are existing styles in standard sizes readily chosen for bridesmaids and are priced accordingly, starting from $330 to $1200. You can view a selection of our beautiful designs on offer, by making an appointment. You can choose a style, colour and size, and once this is done, your order will be ready within approximately six weeks depending on what time of the year, if it is busy or slow season. Any alterations requested,  additional charges will apply.

Made to Measure, is developed and created from existing styles. Often brides love a style in the made to order range but would like the style further developed with embellishments, and design changes, hence making the garment unique to you. This process will require extra time in design development along with the possible production of a toile to ensure fit and the style before the final piece is made. Pricing for this service starts from approximately $2000, and requires a minimum of four months to complete depending on the season.

Couture, we are happy to discuss ideas to create your own unique dress for your special day. This requires more time for the design process to create a toile to ensure fit and style before creating a beautiful and individual finished piece. This specialty service starts from approximately $3000, and needs a minimum of six months to complete the finished garment.

Bare in mind Katya is a design business with a signature style. If you are firm about your ideas of your special dress and it does not endure the Katya ethos, we are happy to recommend a more suitable designer that better reflects your style or it may be best to acquire a dressmaker not a designer.

We sometimes can produce a design in a tighter schedual if needed depending on the time of the year, please feel free to discuss this with us if this may be an issue. Additional fees may apply.

Making an appointment

Most clients are familiar with the katya signature style, and have a rough idea of what they want when making an appointment. If you are unfamiliar with the label, we suggest going through the online collection to make sure katya is to your liking before making an appointment. Please feel free to contact us if you require further information.

We take appointments Monday and Tuesday 10 am to 2 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 3 pm. Please contact us to book an appointment.

What to expect at your appointment, generally your first appointment is an introduction to the styles and look of the label. Generally a first appointment is about 40 minutes long, depending on your needs this allows enough time for you to browse the collection and try pieces on and discuss your ideas. If you are happy to proceed we can discuss details to move forward with your order then, or make a further appointment to finalise details or refine your ideas. If you require further appointments and assistance before committing to a design, a fee of $100 p/h will apply.

Preparing for your appointment depending on the service you require, please bring any images that inspire your special dress, along with colours, length and embellishments. Along with dates and locations that will reflect choices and timeline. As well as correct underwear and desired shoe height if possible.

We are happy to welcome friends and family of the bridal party to an appointment, but as space is limited, we request a maximum of two to three people attend an appointment.

Placing an order

To book our services, and to make sure your order is produced within the required timeline, a non-refundable deposit of 50 % is needed before work commences, and the final balance before dress/es are picked up. Once committed to an order, depending on the acquired service, should the decision making process, approval, or change of mind of a design be drawn out, this may affect the timeline originally set, along with possible additional charges.
